PostScan Mail is a commercial mail receiving agency that offers smart mailboxes using real US business addresses. We have over 400 locations nationwide and internationally that you can use for personal or business use.
Each mailing address comes equipped with a virtual mailbox that is used to manage your postal mail on your mobile phone or any web-connected device. Our plans include scanning, mail forwarding, shredding, recycling, adding multiple recipients, and more.
Our starter plan starts at $10/month and includes 30 incoming mail items. While our premium plan starts at $30/month and includes up to 120 incoming mail items.
USPS Informed Delivery
Informed Delivery by USPS is an online service to preview your mail and packages before they’re delivered. You can perform limited actions like track packages, reschedule the delivery, and set delivery instructions.
This service is not to be confused with a virtual mailbox because it does not give users the ability to open and scan their mail. Informed Delivery by USPS is free but you must have an active USPS account, verify your identity, and have proof of address to activate it.
It is only offered to residential addresses and PO Boxes and cannot be used for business addresses. You’re not provided with your choice of a professional business address or any additional mail handling benefits.
How is PostScan Mail Different from USPS Informed Delivery?

Mobile Apps: Using a computer, mobile device, or tablet, you can log into your virtual mailbox and remotely manage all of your postal mail. The mobile app is available at Apple’s App Store or Google’s Play Store.
Needing only an internet connection, you can log into your virtual mailbox through your computer or mobile device (iPhones, Android phones, tablets, and iPads). Download the mobile app now from Apple’s App Store or Google’s Play Store and start mail handling!
California Registered Agent: Use our professional mailing address as a registered agent to represent your LLC or company; receive bank statements, tax files, and any other legal documents at any time, wherever you are – without an additional cost.
Package Forwarding Service: Your mail and packages are stored for up to 7 days from their arrival – for FREE! You’re also no longer restricted to USPS, you can use other mail carriers like UPS, FedEx, or DHL. We’ll consolidate your packages and forward them to any given address, domestically or internationally.
Shipments Tracking: With our advanced tracking system, you’ll always be up-to-date with your mail and packages location. Use your tracking number and keep track of your order’s status until its arrival.
